Product description

This six pack of Impatiens Beacon Bright Red bedding plants will create a long-lasting display with a bold red colour theme. This long-awaited and brand-new Impatiens Beacon range is now providing high resistance to downy mildew disease which affected these popular plants in the past. Growing out of bushy, spreading mounds, they are incredibly easy to grow, free flowering and will thrive equally well in full sun or shaded areas. Fill your flower beds, hanging baskets and patio containers with these stunning Busy Lizzies and show off their colourful blooms from spring to frost.

Plant in moist, well-drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun or part-shade and feed regularly through the summer. Impatiens do not need to be deadheaded as they will self-clean their spent blooms.

Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.

Instructions

Top Tip

Deadhead bedding plants regularly to encourage continuous blooms and prevent the plants from going to seed too quickly. This keeps your garden vibrant all season long.

How to Water

Water bedding plants deeply after planting, then regularly to keep soil evenly moist, especially during dry periods. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. Water in the morning to allow leaves to dry and reduce the risk of fungal diseases.

How to Plant

Choose an area of good light with well-drained soil to loosen. Mix in compost for nutrients. Space plants evenly to allow growth. Gently remove plants from their packs, place in holes at the same depth as in the container, backfill with soil, and water thoroughly.
