Product description
Leontopodium 'Blossom of Snow' is a deciduous perennial shrub with grey-green foliage and large flower heads. In late spring, this variety begins to develop a fuzzy silver-like "wool" effect coupled with flower-like silver bracts in the shape of a star, these flowers bloom in abundance from summer to autumn. A very tough and hardy perennial, this plant prefers a fully sunny position in the garden and it can be planted in any soil, as long as it is well drained.
Known better as "Edelweiss", this perennial will die back in winter before returning to bloom year after year. Owing to it's native rocky alpine habitat, this plant prefers growing in cooler climates.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Leontopodium thrives in dry, rocky conditions and should not be overwatered. Grow it in a raised bed or container with excellent drainage for best results.
How to Water
Water Leontopodium sparingly, allowing the soil to dry between waterings. These plants are drought-tolerant and prefer well-drained soil, so avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.
How to Plant
Plant Leontopodium in well-drained, slightly alkaline soil with full sun exposure. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant, and fill with soil. Space them about 30cm apart to allow for air circulation.
