Product description
This six pack of Lobelia Bush Crystal Palace bedding plants variety has a striking blue-purple shade and has become an extremely popular feature in the summer garden, flowering continuously from mid-spring to autumn. Very easy to grow, this upright, bushy type forms neat mounds which thrive well in full sun where their foliage will often turn a bronze-green colour. The masses of dainty flowers will make eye-catching additions to beds, borders, hanging baskets but are also very useful for edging, even in the more shaded areas of your garden.
Plant in deep, fertile, reliably moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part-shade. Feed regularly with liquid fertiliser. No need to deadhead.

Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.

Top Tip
Trim back lightly after the first flush of blooms to encourage fresh growth and continued flowering. Lobelia adds delicate texture and vibrant colour to summer displays and is especially effective when mass planted or combined with other bedding favourites.
How to Water
Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry or windy weather. Lobelia has shallow roots and can dry out quickly, particularly in pots and hanging baskets. Avoid overwatering, but don’t allow the soil to become completely dry.
How to Plant
Plant Lobelia bedding plants in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded position. These low-growing, spreading plants are perfect for borders, containers, and edging displays, offering a cloud of tiny flowers. Space plants 10–15cm apart to allow for full, even coverage.
