An uncommon variety of Magnolia species, the Magnolia ‘Fairy White’ is considered an evergreen in most regions due to its tolerance of colder climates and general hardiness and ease of maintenance. The dark green foliage provides a nice contrast to the bright white Spring blooms which appear all along the stems, providing good coverage and an even spread of colour. The flowers will occasionally bloom again in Summer, sometimes lasting into the Autumn months.
Plant in fertile, moist, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. A sheltered position is recommended as this variety is susceptible to strong winds and harsh frosts, which may cause foliage damage and dieback.
