Product description

This six pack of Marigold American F1 Marvel Yellow bedding plants will bring the colour of sunshine to your garden in all weathers. These early flowering annuals, have shorter, thicker stems with dark green fern- like foliage and large, fully double flower heads with tightly packed petals. This Marvel series is renowned for resisting Botrytis and for their sturdy stems that will not break during transit. Their much improved branched foliage make them stand up to poor weather conditions and they look fantastic in sunny beds, borders and patio containers.

Plant in deep, fertile, reliably moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part-shade. Apply a balanced fertiliser preferably every two weeks. Deadhead as required to remove damaged/dead flowers.

Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.

Instructions

Top Tip

Deadhead bedding plants regularly to encourage continuous blooms and prevent the plants from going to seed too quickly. This keeps your garden vibrant all season long.

How to Water

Water bedding plants deeply after planting, then regularly to keep soil evenly moist, especially during dry periods. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. Water in the morning to allow leaves to dry and reduce the risk of fungal diseases.

How to Plant

Choose an area of good light with well-drained soil to loosen. Mix in compost for nutrients. Space plants evenly to allow growth. Gently remove plants from their packs, place in holes at the same depth as in the container, backfill with soil, and water thoroughly.
