Product description
Mint Strawberry is easy to take care of and makes an attractive inclusion to any kitchen garden. The herb produces pretty light purple flowers in summer, while the foliage emits a pleasant strawberry-like aroma with just a hint of peppermint.
The plant’s leaves are often used for making herbal teas (both hot and iced) and are delicious when chopped and sprinkled over fruit salads, soft cheeses and desserts. The flowers are also edible and are ideal as a garnish for desserts and drinks, such as cocktails or Pimm’s.
This herb is fast growing and many gardeners choose to keep it in pots and containers to prevent it taking over. Bees, butterflies and other pollinators love this herb and will be attracted to your garden during the summer.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Harvest young leaves regularly to promote bushy fresh new growth.
How to Water
Water regularly during the first season and less often once established. Bear in mind that container grown plants need to be watered more frequently than those in the ground.
How to Plant
Mint spreads vigorously, so grow it in containers or patio pots to keep it under control. Use fertile, well-draining soil and position the plants in full sun or partial shade. Avoid planting different flavours of mint close together as they can lose their distinct scents.
