Product description
Nepeta Blue Prelude, more commonly known as the Cat Mint plant, is a deciduous outdoor plant with aromatic, green foliage and clusters of violet-blue, bell-shaped flowers which begin to bloom in late spring, and continue to bloom for a long period over the summer.
Plant Cat Mint in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade where it will thrive best. These plants are great for growing in a plant pot, but they are also great for adding to beds and borders, where their aromatic foliage and flowers will attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Trim Nepeta back after its first flowering to encourage a second bloom and maintain its neat shape.
How to Water
Water Nepeta regularly until established, keeping the soil slightly moist. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and requires minimal watering, only during prolonged dry periods.
How to Plant
Plant Nepeta in well-draining soil in a sunny location, although it can tolerate partial shade. Space plants 30-45cm apart. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant in, backfill with soil, and gently firm. Water thoroughly after planting.
