Product description

This six pack of Petunia F1 Frenzy Candyfloss Mixed bedding plants provides the most enchanting long-lasting clusters of brilliant, ruffled blooms from June to October. This exquisite, trailing petunia variety is double bloomed and has much larger blooms than other double trailing types, they also have a superb tolerance to adverse weather conditions. The sweet scented flowers are surrounded by contrasting bright green foliage and can be planted for ground cover in borders and rockeries or look fantastic tumbling from hanging baskets, pots and window boxes.

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil and in full sun or part-shade. Feed and water petunia plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Petunias bloom longer and stronger when old blossoms and seed capsules are snipped off every week or so.

Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.

Instructions

Top Tip

Deadhead faded blooms and pinch back straggly stems to promote fresh growth and longer flowering. Feed every two weeks with a high-potash fertiliser to keep the display full, bright, and blooming all season long.

How to Water

Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, especially during hot or windy conditions. Petunias in containers may need daily watering in summer. Avoid overwatering or letting the soil completely dry out, and ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.

How to Plant

Plant Petunia bedding plants in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered location. These colourful, mound-forming plants are ideal for borders, containers, and mass displays. Space plants 20–30cm apart to give them room to spread and create a carpet of vibrant blooms.
