Product description

This Pieris Little Heath shrub brings pinky-red coloured foliage to the table when young, before taking on a lovely green and cream variegated look as time progresses. The vibrant leaves are joined by sparse flowering in Spring. Each white bloom forms from pink buds to bring an added attraction to its appearance in Spring, This evergreen shrub will perform well in all seasons and look great in any flower beds, pots or in a container on your patio.

Pieris plants prefer to be placed in full sun or partial shade. The soil they are planted in should be acidic or moderately fertile soil and kept moist, well-drained and regularly watered to a light level so it continues to thrive and flourish all-year-round.

Instructions

Top Tip

Pieris thrives in acidic soil and partial shade, so avoid planting in full sun or alkaline soil for best results.

How to Water

Water Pieris plants regularly, keeping the soil moist but not waterlogged. During hot months, ensure the soil doesn't dry out, but avoid overwatering. Reduce watering once the plant is established.

How to Plant

Plant Pieris in well-drained, acidic soil with good organic matter. Choose a partially shaded spot and dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Place the plant in the hole with the top of the root ball level with the surrounding soil and backfill with soil.
