A dwarf evergreen Rhododendron with some interesting flowers. The ‘Dora Amateis’ is a great compact shrub, perfect for use in shrub beds, rockeries or as flowering low hedges. The dense foliage has hues of bronze when young, becoming dark green when mature with flowers blooming as clusters of slightly scented, trumpet-shaped white flowers with specks of pink and green throughout the petals.
Plant in moist, humus-rich, well-drained acidic soil and keep partially shaded. Tolerates full sun but may affect flower longevity and foliage colour. Keep in sheltered position and provide frost protection.

Plant Rhododendrons in a partially shaded spot with acidic, well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball and place the plant, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the soil. Backfill with soil and water thoroughly.
