Product description
Rhododendron 'Furnivals Daughter' is a colourful and popular shrub. It boasts fantastic evergreen foliage with large mid-green leaves and develops compact trusses of funnel-shaped flowers that bloom into a lovely pale pink and widen to around 7cm. Between late spring and early summer, the pink flowers gain the striking addition of a prominent maroon flare, giving this plant an added elegance at the height of summer.
This bushy plant prefers partial shade and does well in most soils, so long as it is well drained and kept moist.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Avoid planting Rhododendrons too deep; the root crown should be slightly above soil level to prevent rot.
How to Water
Water Rhododendrons regularly, especially in dry periods. Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Mulch around the base to help retain moisture and prevent weeds.
How to Plant
Plant Rhododendrons in a partially shaded spot with acidic, well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball and place the plant, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the soil. Backfill with soil and water thoroughly.
