Product description
Rhododendron Ramapo is an impressive garden shrub with aromatic leaves and stunning Spring flowerheads. Its flowers grow in clusters of attractive light purple blooms in Spring, with elegant red-tipped stamens from the centre. The funnel-shaped flowering is surrounded by evergreen foliage that is blue-grey when young. It'll turn dark green as time progresses, giving off the perfect contrast during its period of interest.
This plant is ideal for adding a burst of colour into a pot or container on its own. It is also an attractive way to complement other flowers within bedding, borders or plant displays.
Rhododendrons are low maintenance shrubs. Place them in partial shade. They will tolerate most soils that are kept moist and well-drained. Water them well until established, then maintain regular watering afterwards.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Instructions
Top Tip
Avoid planting Rhododendrons too deep; the root crown should be slightly above soil level to prevent rot.
How to Water
Water Rhododendrons regularly, especially in dry periods. Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Mulch around the base to help retain moisture and prevent weeds.
How to Plant
Plant Rhododendrons in a partially shaded spot with acidic, well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball and place the plant, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the soil. Backfill with soil and water thoroughly.
