Instructions

Top Tip

Prune roses in late winter or early spring to encourage healthy growth and blooms. Remove dead, damaged, or crossing stems, and cut above outward-facing buds. Regular pruning improves airflow, reduces disease risk, and keeps your rose bushes thriving.

How to Water

Water roses deeply at the base 1–2 times per week, depending on weather, to keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Avoid overhead watering to prevent fungal diseases. Early morning is best to allow leaves to dry quickly. Mulch helps retain soil moisture and reduce watering needs.

How to Plant

To plant roses, choose a sunny spot with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide and deep enough to place the root ball with the graft union slightly above soil level. Mix compost into the soil, backfill, and firm gently. Water thoroughly and mulch to retain moisture. Space plants 60-90cm apart.
