Product description

Senetti Violet is prized for its long flowering period, holding onto its daisy-like blooms from early March to late May. The large, vibrant purple flowers bloom in abundance over ovate glossy green foliage, providing striking early colour in the garden.

Senetti Violet grows well in garden beds and borders but is also a great choice for container gardening and can even be grown as an indoor plant. Senetti Violet thrives in most soil types, provided the soil is kept moist but well-drained. It prefers a sheltered spot in full sun or partial shade and needs additional frost protection during the colder months.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.

Instructions

Top Tip

Deadhead spent flowers regularly to encourage more blooms and maintain the plant's appearance throughout the season.

How to Water

Water Senetti regularly, keeping the soil moist but not soggy. Ensure good drainage to avoid waterlogging, which can cause root rot. Reduce watering in winter.

How to Plant

Plant Senetti in a sunny location with well-drained soil. Dig a hole large enough for the root ball, place the plant in, and backfill with soil. Space them at least 30cm apart to allow for proper airflow and growth.
