Product description
Sophora Sun King is an evergreen shrub with stark, deeply coloured green foliage that grows in a petite size, but ensures it is eye-catching due to that darker colour throughout each leaf. The contrast is completed when vibrant yellow flowering is produced through late Winter blooms, which will continue to grow into early Spring. Sophora should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and kept in full sun at the best of times. Watering this plant well in Summertime will ensure the plant grows substantially, as well as keeping it to at least once a week in all other periods of the year.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Prune Sophora plants after flowering to maintain shape and encourage strong growth. They are resilient and low-maintenance, perfect for adding elegance to your garden.
How to Water
Water Sophora regularly after planting, keeping the soil moist but not soggy. Once established, these drought-tolerant plants need less frequent watering, though they benefit from occasional deep watering during dry spells.
How to Plant
Plant Sophora in well-draining soil with full sun. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball, place the plant, and backfill with soil. Space plants 120-180cm apart to allow for their wide growth. Water thoroughly after planting to settle the soil.
