Instructions

Top Tip

Prune Thuja in early spring to maintain a tidy shape and encourage dense growth. Avoid cutting too much off the top, as this can damage the plant’s natural form.

How to Water

Water Thuja regularly, especially during dry spells, to keep the soil moist. Ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogging, which can cause root rot. Once established, Thuja is drought-tolerant but still benefits from occasional deep watering.

How to Plant

Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide and the same depth as the root ball. Place the plant, backfill with soil, and firm gently. Water thoroughly after planting. Space plants 90-150cm apart for privacy screens or hedges.
