Product description

Thyme is a wonderful addition to any border or herb garden. Small dark grey-green leaves produce a welcoming aroma as you brush past, while tiny pale pink flowers decorate the dwarf shrub from early summer. These little blooms are irresistible to bees and butterflies attracting helpful pollinators into the garden.

As for culinary uses, Thyme is excellent for adding flavour to stews, soups, stuffings, and sauces, pairing particularly well with chicken. It is also a key ingredient of a Bouquet Garni.

This hardy evergreen herb is easy to grow and care for. It prefers a sunny spot in well-draining soil and is drought-tolerant once established. Thyme grows well in borders or rock gardens and is ideal for filling pots and containers, especially near the door where the plant can be easily harvested.

Sow Thyme seeds indoors from February or directly outside from April to May. Plant out from May to July, when the risk of frost has passed and allow 30cm between rows. Harvest throughout the year.
