Product description
Umbrella plants make excellent house plants because they can tolerate a certain amount of neglect. There are several different cultivars available and this particular variety has variegated leaves of yellow and green.
Zamioculcas zamiifolia is a member of the Araceae (Arum) family. Its an evergreen plant with feathered leaves which grow to a length of 40 to 60cm. The leaves on the thick stems are smooth, shiny and dark green. The plant can flower, but rarely does indoor sand. the arum-like flowers grow from the base of the plant.
The beautiful, attractive and delicate appearance of the Chamaedorea Elegans is made up of light green fronds that have a dainty like texture which are loved by interior designers. Whilst a slow grower it should reach a respectable indoor height within only a few years, after which you may (with good light) receive regular clusters of flowers and for a palm kept indoors that is pretty rare.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Collections or 'mixed' listings for plants will be selected dependant on availability and carefully hand-picked to ensure their quality.

Top Tip
To keep the plants in the Unique Foliage House Plant Bundle thriving, wipe their leaves regularly with a damp cloth to remove dust and improve light absorption. Rotate each plant weekly to promote even growth. For a healthy environment, consider grouping the plants together to maintain higher humidity levels or using a pebble tray with water to add moisture to the air.
How to Water
Water each plant in the Unique Foliage Bundle based on its individual needs. Generally, allow the top 2–3 cm of soil to dry out before watering, ensuring the soil is moist but not soggy. Use room-temperature water and avoid letting the pots sit in standing water, as this can lead to root rot. During the dormant season (autumn and winter), reduce watering frequency, allowing the soil to dry out more between waterings.
How to Plant
To plant the Unique Foliage House Plant Bundle, select containers with good drainage and fill them with a well-draining potting mix, ideally suited for indoor plants. Gently remove each plant from its nursery pot, loosen the roots, and place it in a slightly larger pot. Ensure each plant is positioned at the same depth as in its original container. Backfill with soil, firm lightly, and water thoroughly. Position the pots in a bright spot with indirect sunlight, ensuring a stable, warm environment for optimal growth.
