Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: A compact deciduous shrub producing upright stems with three-palmate leaves and yellow-orange flowers.
Growth and Spread: Ultimate height of up to 120cm and spread of up to 90cm.
Care and Maintenance: Plant in a sunny spot in well-draining soil. Ensure the soil doesn’t become waterlogged and avoid transplanting.
Period of Interest: Foliage interest from spring to autumn. Flowers in spring.
Cytisus Fulgens is a small shrub that is ideal for any part of the garden. Its compact size is ideal for filling gaps in beds and borders and makes this the ideal shrub for brightening up the patio in pots and containers.
Also known as Common Broom, this shrub has an upright growing habit. It produces upright green stems that bear small, dark-green, three-palmate leaves from spring to autumn. In late spring, bright, fragrant, yellow-orange flowers adorn the plant, making it a magnet for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
This is a low maintenance garden shrub that grows well left to its own devices. Plant in full sun and ensure the soil is well drained. Cytisus Fulgens doesn’t cope well with waterlogged soil and hates being transplanted, so pick your spot carefully!

The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
