Top Tip
Place your Disco Cactus Mix in a location with bright, indirect sunlight for optimal growth and vibrant colouration. If grown indoors, rotate the container occasionally to ensure even exposure to light. Fertilise with a cactus-specific feed during the growing season to promote healthy growth but avoid over-fertilising, as this can harm the plants.
How to Water
Water your Disco Cactus Mix sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. During the growing season (spring and summer), water every two to three weeks, and reduce to once a month in the dormant winter period. Always avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. If using containers, ensure there are drainage holes to prevent water from pooling at the bottom.
How to Plant
To plant a Disco Cactus Mix, select a sunny location with gritty, well-draining soil. For containers, use a specialist cactus compost or mix sand into regular potting soil to improve drainage. Plant each cactus at the same depth it was in its original container and allow some space between them for airflow. After planting, lightly press the soil around the base and wait a few days before watering to allow any damaged roots to heal.
