Product description
Cordyline Tango is a very popular indoor plant amongst all levels of plant lovers. Its deep purple and pink foliage is a feature that stands out and, with the upright nature in which the foliage stands, it isn't hard to appreciate this plant from all angles within an indoor setting. Each leaf pulls out from the upright stem of the plant and shows off their glosiness and classy finish with ease, which only adds to the attractive display the plant can offer all year round. It will purify the air within the area it lives in by removing harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins from the air, whilst it should be situated in an area with plenty of partial shade. Watering the plant should be done twice a month, with the plant not requiring a lot of maintenance at any point in the year.

Top Tip
Prune off any damaged or dead leaves to encourage fresh, vibrant growth. Feed Cordyline every two weeks during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertiliser to maintain healthy foliage and colour. For potted plants, rotate them occasionally to ensure even exposure to light, preventing lopsided growth. Protect the plant from frost by covering it or moving it indoors during colder months.
How to Water
Water Cordyline deeply after planting and regularly during its first year to help establish a strong root system. Once established, it prefers soil that is allowed to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid overwatering, as Cordyline dislikes soggy soil, which can lead to root rot. During hot or dry periods, water more frequently, particularly for plants grown in containers.
How to Plant
To plant Cordyline, select a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-draining soil. Amend the soil with organic matter if necessary to improve drainage and nutrient content. For outdoor planting, dig a hole twice as wide and slightly deeper than the root ball, ensuring the crown is level with the soil surface. For potted plants, use a container with drainage holes and a quality potting mix. Firm the soil gently around the roots and water thoroughly after planting.
