Product description
Acer Vitifolium, commonly known as the Japanese Maple, are considered as large garden shrubs or smaller garden trees. In spring, before foliage emerges, clusters of small, deep red flowers bloom, eventually accompanied by rustic, bronze leaves which change to green over the summer months. When autumn comes around, leaves once again change, turning shades of stunning gold and fiery crimson.
Plant your Japanese Maple Tree in full sun to partial shade, in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil where it will thrive. These outdoor trees are ideal for slightly smaller gardens, where they can add a splash of autumn colour without overwhelming the space. They are ideal for growing in a large plant pot when smaller, and they can then be planted as a focal point, or in beds and borders among other shrubs.
