During the Spring and the beginning of Summer large clusters of rich blue flowers grow thick and fast all along the arching branches in stark contrast to the small, dark green leaves of its foliage. ‘Puget Blue’ is a great asset to any garden, providing vibrant Spring colour as part of wall borders, informal hedges or low screening.
Plant in medium moisture, well-drained soil and keep in full sun. Drought tolerant but should be kept sheltered from high winds which may dry out or damage the plant.

How to Water
Water regularly during the first few growing seasons. After this, ceanothus is drought tolerant and only needs to be watered during particularly dry spells. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings.
How to Plant
Choose a sheltered spot out of strong winds and plant ceanothus in full sun in well-draining soil. Dig a hole around twice as wide as the root ball and position the plant so the top of the root ball is at soil level. Backfill with soil and compost, gently firm down, and water in well.
