Product description

This standard Coriander variety is excellent for seed production, going to seed quickly and producing an excellent harvest. The bright green pinnate leaves are aromatic and are delicious when picked young.

Coriander leaves are popular for culinary use, adding flavour to soups, sauces, stir-fries, and curries. They complement chicken and pork dishes particularly well. Meanwhile, the seeds can be collected and used to make rubs or marinades. They work well with vegetables and legumes and can be toasted to bring out extra flavour.

Grow Coriander seeds in fertile, light soil. For maximum seed production, sow in full sun. Alternatively, position your plants in partial shade for an abundance of fresh young leaves. Keep Coriander plants well-watered to prevent early flowering and, if growing for the leaves, cut back flower stems as they appear to prolong harvesting season.

Sow Coriander seeds directly outdoors from April. Thin out plants as they grow, allowing 30cm between rows and 23cm between plants. Harvest from June to August.
