This species is noted for its deep green foliage, changing with the seasons to end up as a bright pink in the Autumn months. Tiny purple-green flowers emerge above the foliage surrounded by large white bracts which also shift and change with the seasons, gaining a red-pink hue as the year wears on.
A low maintenance, easy to grow tree. Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. The foliage is susceptible to leaf scorch under full sun during the warm Summer months in some climates.

How to Plant
To plant Cornus, choose a sunny or partially shaded position with well-draining soil that is neutral to slightly acidic.
