Bursting with colour, this Cosmos variety has a compact, bushy shape with light, feathery foliage. From July all the way to October, it is covered with masses of bright, daisy-like flowers in mixed shades of red, pink, and white, each with a bright yellow centre. These blooms are a magnet for pollinators, enticing bees and butterflies into the garden all summer long.

Cosmos Sensation Mixed creates an eye-catching display in beds and borders and will be the envy of your neighbours. It is also well-suited to container gardening and looks stunning in pots, window boxes, and hanging baskets.

Sow Cosmos seeds in trays from February to May and keep them in a warm spot until the seedlings are large enough to handle. Harden them off gradually and plant out in the flowering site from May, once the risk of frost has passed. Choose a spot in full sun in moist but well-draining soil and leave 25cm between plants. Water Cosmos plants regularly until they are firmly established and deadhead spent blooms to promote further flowering.
