House Plant Size Guide
House plants come in a wide array of shapes and sizes depending on the variety and maturity of the plant.
6cm/12cm/15cm/19cm/23cm nursery pots are the most common size of pot that they are sold in. This measurement is the diameter at the top of the pot.
12cm potted plants are the most popular providing great value for money and an instant impact. Larger plants that come in pots of 20cm+ are great for making a statement in any room and can represent years of growth to get to that level of maturity and size.

Top Tip
To maintain compact, vibrant growth, rotate your Crassula plant periodically to ensure even light exposure. Fertilise lightly with a cactus or succulent feed during the growing season, but avoid overfeeding as it can weaken the plant. Prune leggy or dead growth as needed, and propagate healthy leaves or stems for new plants. For best results, keep the plant in a warm spot away from drafts or sudden temperature changes.
How to Water
Water Crassula thoroughly but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. During the growing season, water every 2–3 weeks, and reduce frequency in winter when the plant is dormant. Use rainwater if possible, as Crassula prefers low mineral content in water. Avoid letting water sit on the leaves or at the base, as this can cause fungal issues or rot.
How to Plant
To plant Crassula, choose a sunny or partially shaded location with well-draining soil. If growing indoors, use a container with drainage holes and a cactus or succulent potting mix. Gently remove the plant from its nursery pot and loosen the roots before placing it in the new soil. Ensure the base of the plant sits level with the soil surface, then firm the soil lightly around it. Avoid planting too deeply and water sparingly after planting to prevent root rot.
