Product description
Disco Cacti are easy to grow versatile houseplants, valued by collectors for their different varieties and grafting abilities. These are ideal living gift items, suitable for any occasion like birthday parties, wedding anniversaries or office parties. They have a striking colourful top that reflects showy colours of red, yellow and pink.
A selection of different Disco Cactus will make an impressive houseplant mix. Grow them in well-drained soil. They can adapt to harsh and dry conditions, tolerating drought longer than any other houseplant. This Disco Cactus mix by Plant Parcel makes an ideal addition to your beautiful patio or living room. It will brighten up a dull corner that is dust free.
The head of Disco Cactus lacks chlorophyll, thus exposing bright colours other than green. Cultivators use grafting techniques to implant the head of the plant on another cactus body. This showy combination serves its decoration purpose and is popular for enhancing the interior décor.
Disco Cactus requires low maintenance and thrives for long years, even with little watering. These are robust, generally disease-free plants. It makes a unique, stunning living gift to send to a garden lover. It makes an exquisite feature in a conservatory or on a small patio. Perfect gift items for new homes and offices.
House Plant Size Guide
House plants come in a wide array of shapes and sizes depending on the variety and maturity of the plant.
6cm/12cm/15cm/19cm/23cm nursery pots are the most common size of pot that they are sold in. This measurement is the diameter at the top of the pot.
12cm potted plants are the most popular providing great value for money and an instant impact. Larger plants that come in pots of 20cm+ are great for making a statement in any room and can represent years of growth to get to that level of maturity and size.

Top Tip
Place your Disco Cactus Mix in a location with bright, indirect sunlight for optimal growth and vibrant colouration. If grown indoors, rotate the container occasionally to ensure even exposure to light. Fertilise with a cactus-specific feed during the growing season to promote healthy growth but avoid over-fertilising, as this can harm the plants.
How to Water
Water your Disco Cactus Mix sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. During the growing season (spring and summer), water every two to three weeks, and reduce to once a month in the dormant winter period. Always avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. If using containers, ensure there are drainage holes to prevent water from pooling at the bottom.
How to Plant
To plant a Disco Cactus Mix, select a sunny location with gritty, well-draining soil. For containers, use a specialist cactus compost or mix sand into regular potting soil to improve drainage. Plant each cactus at the same depth it was in its original container and allow some space between them for airflow. After planting, lightly press the soil around the base and wait a few days before watering to allow any damaged roots to heal.
