Product description

An attractive and very hardy perennial suitable for just about any garden. The Geranium 'Brookside' or Cranesbill is a variety of the very popular species, with deeply divided yellow-green foliage in a mat-forming habit beneath short stems which carry an abundance of small, saucer-shaped flowers of violet-blue with pale-to-white centres which appear throughout the Summer with an occasional second blooming happening nearer the end of Summer.

Plant in moderately fertile, well-drained soils and keep in full or partial sun. Tolerates shady areas but this will affect flower density and colouration. A very hardy and resilient plant.

Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. This plant will be supplied in a grower's pot.

Instructions

Top Tip

To encourage more blooms, regularly deadhead spent flowers and trim leggy growth.

How to Water

Water Geraniums when the top inch of soil feels dry. They prefer deep, less frequent watering over shallow, frequent watering. Ensure the soil drains well to prevent root rot. Avoid wetting the foliage.

How to Plant

Plant Geraniums in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant, and fill with soil. Space plants 30-45cm apart to allow for airflow. Water thoroughly after planting.
