A colourful variety with low growing, spreading growth and heavy, long periods of blooming. The Geranium 'Hexham Velvet' is a type of Cranesbill with deeply divided, marbled yellow-green foliage growing in densely beneath stems bearing many rich pink flowers with deep purple centres and veining along the petals. A free flowering plant with a long blooming period and occasional second flowerings from early in the Summer right through to the start of Autumn. The foliage takes on hues of red and orange in the Autumn months.
Plant in moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. Attractive for pollinators and perfect for potting and container plant or as part of a shrub border.

Plant Geraniums in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant, and fill with soil. Space plants 30-45cm apart to allow for airflow. Water thoroughly after planting.
