Product description
Hebe Purple Shamrock is an evergreen shrub with cream and green colours creating a variegated look to the plants foliage. The colour of the leaves will then gain a tinge of purple in Spring, which brings a good contrast to the aforementioned lighter shades. From the months of June through to October, purple flowers will form, showing an array of striking purple flowers. Hebe should be planted in moist, well-drained soil, as well as ensuring it is exposed to full sunlight. This shrub is low maintenance at the best of times, except for in the drier weather conditions, which should see water become more regular.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Prune lightly after flowering to encourage bushy growth and maintain the plant’s shape. Avoid heavy pruning, as Hebes may struggle to regrow from older wood.
How to Water
Water Hebe thoroughly after planting, then keep the soil evenly moist during the first season. Once established, they are drought-tolerant and require only occasional watering during dry periods.
How to Plant
Plant Hebe in well-draining soil in a sunny or lightly shaded spot, sheltered from strong winds. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball, place the plant at the same depth it was in its pot, and backfill with soil. Space plants 60-90cm apart for full growth.
