The Hydrangea ‘Limelight’ is a dense, spreading deciduous shrub with large, rounded yellow-green foliage on brown stems and tipped with an abundance of large, conical clusters of lime-green flowers from late Summer, which fade to white over time and develop a faint hint of pink with maturity in the Autumn. Perfect for cut flowers or planted in mixed border displays.
Plant in moist, moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soils and keep in full or partial sun. Native to more tropical areas and tolerant of heat and humidity, but intense Summer sun may impact its growth, so a partially shaded area is advised in regions with hot Summers.
