Product description
“Fiona Sunrise” is a twining climbing vine that is valued for its vibrant, golden yellow foliage colour and pleasantly scented, white flowers. The leaflets form in groups of seven and maintain their wonderful golden hues throughout the seasons.
Trellis the plant along garden walls or along other climbing areas. It is recommended that you plant this variety near areas where it can be enjoyed for its pleasant jasmine aromas. They do make excellent climbers and can climb their ways through a hedge or along a tree.
In fact, they are sunbathers and prefer to be located in full sun. And various soil types are good for this plant, although it does prefer to be in protected or sheltered locations for the cold. It can tolerate winter temperatures down to -15°C.
Maintenance is relatively low and a suggested way to handle this plant is to use it in a container. At the end of the growing season, give it a hard pruning and then put it inside or into a sheltered position in preparation for colder winter temperatures.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Prune Jasminum after flowering to encourage bushy growth and remove dead or weak stems for a healthier plant.
How to Water
Water deeply and regularly during the growing season, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce watering in winter. Avoid waterlogging as it can harm the roots.
How to Plant
Plant Jasminum in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded spot. Provide a trellis or support if growing a climbing variety. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball, plant at the same depth as in the pot, backfill, firm the soil, and water thoroughly.
