Kniphofia 'Red Hot Popsicle' is a compact deciduous perennial shrub with clumps of grassy foliage and attractive colourful flowers. The grass-like leaves are dark green, and deep red stems poke above the foliage to produce an abundance of cinnamon coloured flower spikes in late summer. Known more commonly as "Red Hot Poker", this plant is ideal for gardens that already have warm-looking colours, or it can provide an interesting contrast in a garden border with other colours.
This plant prefers a fully sunny position in the garden, it can also be planted in almost any type of soil provided it is well-drained.

How to Plant
