Product description
Salad Bowl Lettuce seeds grow into leafy plants bearing loose-leaf lettuces that grow as cut-and-come-again crops. Harvest as needed and more leaves emerge to replace the ones that have been picked. These Lettuce plants are quick and easy to grow, and their attractive leaves makes them perfect for filling beds and borders.
Low in calories yet bursting with vitamins, minerals, and nutrients, Lettuce is a staple of salads, sandwiches, and wraps.
Sow Lettuce seeds indoors from March to April or outdoors from May to July in small batches for a continuous crop. Choose a warm, sunny spot in moist but well-draining soil and plant seedlings out from mid-May, allowing 35cm between plants and 30cm between rows. Harvest from May to September.
