Lonicera japonica ‘Red world’ is a fast growing Japanese honeysuckle variety that releases an abundance of perfumed flowers loved by bees and other pollinators every summer. Starting from vivid red buds, the tubular blooms will open to rich hues of scarlet with an off-white inside.
The eye-catching honeysuckle is an evergreen / semi-evergreen climber with unique foliage that changes from green to flushed bronze come winter. During particularly frosty months in the colder regions, it can lose some or all of its leaves, but fresh new foliage will appear again each spring.
