Product description
Peach Persica Patio Trees are perfect to grow in small gardens, borders & containers. This variety of fruit tree will grow red-flushed, yellow skinned fruits that are both easy to grow and low maintenance. Any level of gardener can grow these with relative ease, whilst also enjoying their Spring flowers and bright green foliage through to Autumn.
Prunus persica Peach Trees are a great variety for growing within patio containers. Their compact growing habit make it a perfect tree to place in an area where space is limited. They prefer loose and fertile soils, as well as a sunny position with partial ventilation, keeping the plant sheltered in the colder months.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.

Instructions
Top Tip
Prune peach trees annually in late winter or early spring to shape the canopy and encourage healthy growth. Remove any dead, diseased, or crossing branches and focus on creating an open, vase-shaped structure to maximise sunlight and airflow. Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring and again after fruiting to ensure robust growth and a bountiful harvest.
How to Water
Water peach trees deeply and regularly, especially during their first growing season to help establish a strong root system. Once established, they require consistent watering, particularly during dry spells and when the fruit is developing. Avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot. Water early in the morning to reduce evaporation and minimise the risk of fungal diseases. A good soaking every 7–10 days is usually sufficient for established trees.
How to Plant
To plant a peach tree, choose a sunny, sheltered spot with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and deep enough to allow the graft union to sit just above the soil line. Before planting, soak the roots in water for a couple of hours. Position the tree in the hole, backfill with enriched soil, and firm it gently. Water thoroughly to settle the soil and mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds, leaving a gap around the trunk to prevent rot.
