Philadelphus Manteau d'Hermine is a deciduous shrub with petite features throughout, making sure that it is visually pleasing to look at, alongside being easy to care for. The shubs small, dark green leaves and white flowers are ovately-shaped, whilst also being able to provide a delightful fragrance. Philadelphus should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and kept in full sun at the best of times. The plant should be watered regularly throughout its first few weeks as it establishes itself, as well as carrying out the same levels in the plants growing season.

How to Water

Water regularly, especially during dry periods. Keep the soil moist but well-drained, as Philadelphus does not like wet feet. Once established, the plant is relatively drought-tolerant but benefits from occasional watering.

How to Plant

Plant Philadelphus in well-drained soil with good sunlight or partial shade. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball, place the plant in, and backfill with soil. Space plants about 120-180cm apart for proper air circulation.
