During Spring and Summer, the tree will show lush green/grey foliage before getting overrun with lovely redcurrant clusters! These deciduous trees are fairly low maintenance and only require light pruning towards the end of the flourishing season.
Ribes plants are fairly low maintenance, fast growing specimens which thrive in moist, well-drained soils. Perfect for beginners, make sure to plant in either partial shade or full sun to ensure its best growth. Water regularly until established, then just occasionally when settled in. Due to being a deciduous tree, they will lose their leaves as the dormant stage appears.
