Product description
Boasting crunchy stalks and small, slender, dark green, serrated foliage, Wild Rocket is a great alternative to the regular cultivar. It has a stronger, peppery flavour and is ideal for use as a garnish or for adding to salads, pizzas, or pesto sauces.
Wild Rocket is a cut and come again crop, meaning harvested young leaves will grow back. Sowing Wild Rocket seeds every 2-3 weeks ensures a continuous harvest of fresh salad leaves.
This is an undemanding garden herb that is easy to grow. It thrives in light shade in moist but well-draining soil. Unlike Salad Rocket, Wild Rocket is a perennial that continues to produce edible leaves after flowering. With winter protection, this attractive garden herb can be harvested well into the colder months.
Sow Wild Rocket seeds indoors from February to March or directly outside from April. Plant out from May, when the risk of frost has passed and allow 30cm between rows. Harvest from May to November.
