This variety of fruit tree will grow dark red cherries that any level of gardener can grow with ease, given their low maintenance, easy to grow nature. How to Water
Water cherry trees deeply and consistently during their first growing season to help establish strong roots. Once established, water during prolonged dry spells, especially in summer when the tree is fruiting or flowering. Avoid waterlogging the soil, as cherries are sensitive to overly wet conditions. Early morning or late evening watering is ideal to reduce evaporation and stress on the plant.
How to Plant
To plant cherry trees, select a sunny, sheltered spot with well-draining soil, ideally with a slightly acidic to neutral pH. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and just deep enough for the tree’s base to sit level with the surrounding soil. Place the tree in the hole, ensuring the roots are spread out evenly. Backfill with soil, firm gently, and water thoroughly to settle the soil.
