How to Water
Water Choisya deeply and regularly during its first growing season to help establish strong roots. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and requires watering only during extended dry periods. Avoid overwatering, as it prefers slightly dry conditions. Water at the base of the plant in the early morning or late evening to reduce evaporation and minimise the risk of fungal diseases on the foliage.
How to Plant
To plant Choisya, choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-draining soil that is neutral to slightly alkaline. Dig a hole twice as wide and the same depth as the root ball, ensuring the crown of the plant sits level with the soil surface. Place the plant into the hole, backfill with soil, and firm gently to eliminate air pockets.
