Product description
Cistus Silver Pink is an evergreen shrub that will show off a gorgeous diplay of flowers in the Summer months. This free-flowering plant will provide the garden with beautiful shades of silvery-pink and white, with the latter of those coming into play as the initial colour fades away in June and July. To offset this, the plants evergreen foliage will be a mainstay throughout, ensuring presence in the garden is maintained for a prolonged period. Plant these in moist, well-drained soil and place them in areas of full sunlight. Pruning them is recommended so, after their flowering period, carry this process out. When the weather is dry for an extended period, put more focus on watering the plant.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Cistus doesn’t tolerate hard pruning well and doesn’t like to be moved, so choose your spot carefully and leave plenty of space for it to grow into.
How to Water
Water regularly throughout the first growing season until fully established. After this, cistus is drought tolerant and only needs to be watered during particularly dry spells.
How to Plant
Plant cistus in a warm, sheltered, sunny spot in light, well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as big as the nursery pot and position the plant so the top of the root ball is at soil level. Backfill the hole with soil and compost, firm down gently, and water in well.
