Top Tip
When the foliage starts to yellow and die back at the end of the season, resist the urge to prune it. Allowing the plant to die back naturally enhances its energy levels, resulting in a wonderful display of flowers the following year.
How to Water
Water lightly after planting to settle the soil. Once the shoots begin to grow, water regularly but avoid soggy conditions. Reduce watering once the flowers begin to fade, allowing the foliage to die back naturally.
How to Plant
These bulbs should ideally be planted in early autumn in a spot that enjoys full sun or partial shade with fertile, well-draining soil. Using a trowel or bulb planter, dig one hole for each bulb leaving 15-20cm between holes. Place the bulbs around 10cm deep in the holes, ensuring the pointed side faces upwards. Backfill the holes, firm down the soil, and water in well.
