Product description
Rich heavenly scented deep blue-violet blooms. The 17+ bulbs will produce compact clusters of star shaped flowers formed into enormous bell shaped blooms. The heady scent of these highly fragrant colourful flowers make them the perfect choice for your summer bedding, alternatively these untreated bulbs can be grown in indoor pots for flowering in early spring
Plant at least 10cm deep and approx 10-12cm apart. For planting in the garden, beds, or borders it is best to plant in well drained soil which has been dug to a good depth. For indoor cultivation of prepared or top sized hyacinth bulbs you should plant in fibre, and keep in a cool dark cupboard for 6-8 weeks. Water when required to ensure that the fibre is not allowed to dry out. The cooler they are stored, the longer the bulbs will last. They can be taken into the room and placed in daylight only when the roots have been well established and buds appear.
Take some care to protect from strong frosts in the winter if planted in the garden.

Top Tip
For vibrant blooms, fertilise hyacinthus bulbs with a balanced fertiliser before they bloom and remove spent flowers to encourage more growth.
How to Water
Water the bulbs after planting to settle the soil, then keep the soil lightly moist throughout the growing season. Avoid overwatering, as bulbs can rot in soggy soil.
How to Plant
Plant Hyacinthus bulbs in well-draining soil, 10-15cm deep and 10cm apart. Choose a sunny location. Dig holes, place the bulbs with the pointed end up, and cover them with soil. Water thoroughly after planting.
