Product description

Nandina Twilight is an evergreen shrub with leaves that provide pink colouring in the plants younger age. Then, as the plant grows older, a green colour will appear within the foliage, with splashes of white also entering the fray to create the elegant finish of this plant. Small white flowers are another great visual feature for the plant to have, with those appearing in Summertime. Nandina should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and kept in full sun at the best of times. Water the shrub well after it is planted, mainly to ensure it can establish itself well. You should also not allow the plant to sit in water for any length of time.

Instructions

Top Tip

Prune Nandina in late winter or early spring to remove old, woody stems and encourage fresh, vibrant growth.

How to Water

Water Nandina regularly during the first growing season to establish strong roots. Once established, it is drought-tolerant but benefits from occasional watering during extended dry periods.

How to Plant

Plant Nandina in well-draining soil with access to full sun or partial shade. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and as deep. Place the plant, backfill with soil, and firm gently. Space multiple plants 60-90cm apart. Water thoroughly after planting to settle the soil.
