Product description
Potentilla Lovely Pink is a deciduous shrub with dark green leaves that grow in the manner that creates a great backdrop for the flowers to bloom with great colour from late Spring into the middle of Autumn. The colours include a gorgeous pink hue throughout, whilst also being joined by a yellow centre to add an extra dimension of colouring in the cup-shaped petals. Planting any Potentilla shrub should be done in moist, well-drained soil and keeping it placed in full sunlight for the most-part. When watering the plant, you will find it becomes less demanding once it establishes itself. However, until that time, you should water it well to get it to the aforementioned stage.

Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Instructions
Top Tip
Prune Potentilla annually in late winter or early spring to encourage compact growth and abundant flowering throughout the season.
How to Water
Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish roots. Once established, they are drought-tolerant but benefit from occasional watering during prolonged dry periods. Avoid overwatering, as they dislike soggy soil.
How to Plant
Choose a sunny or partially shaded location with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Place the plant at the same depth it was in its container, backfill, and firm the soil. Water thoroughly after planting and add mulch to retain moisture and reduce weeds.
