An upright, branching plant with great foliage colour and vibrant flowers that will fit anywhere in the garden. The Weigela ‘Ruby Anniversary’ is a hardy deciduous shrub with dark green foliage flushed with hues of bronze throughout Spring and Summer, and orange hues in the Autumn. Panicles of funnel-shaped, pale red flowers bloom from around late Spring and into Summer to add some bright colour to the deeper hues of the leaves.
Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained, slightly acidic soils and keep in full or partial sun. Easy to grow and manage as it tolerates most soil types and conditions.

How to Water
Water weigela plants deeply, especially during dry periods, to keep the soil moist but not soggy. Once established, they are somewhat drought-tolerant. Water at the base and avoid wetting the leaves, which can cause fungal diseases.
How to Plant
Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the root ball. Place the plant, backfill with soil, and firm gently. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch to retain moisture. Space plants 90-120cm apart.
