Product description
Camellia japonica Miss Lyla is an evergreen shrub that brings gorgeous, semi-double white flowers that occasionally gain bursts of pink colour. The plants petals form to create a rosette shape when it blooms from Spring until late Summer. Its evergreen nature will allow the lush, green foliage to maintain year-round interest, therefore being a great addition to pots, containers, beds, borders and more. This Camellia should be planted in moist, well drained soil and watered when the soil is dry to touch. Placing the plant in full sunlight is recommended, mainly because it will ensure greater long term growth.

Top Tip
Protect Camellias from harsh afternoon sun and frost by planting in sheltered spots. Add mulch annually to retain soil acidity and moisture.
How to Water
Water regularly, especially during dry periods. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Use rainwater if possible, as Camellias prefer slightly acidic water. Avoid wetting the leaves to reduce disease risk.
How to Plant
Choose a partially shaded spot with acidic, well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball but no deeper than its height. Position the plant with the root crown above soil level. Backfill, firm gently, and water well. Mulch to maintain moisture and suppress weeds.
