Fast growing, this variety can create a very handsome looking ground cover, it's distinctive horizontal sprays of attractive needle-like foliage are silvery blue during the summer, before changing to a more pronounced greyish colour during winter. This plant is extremely hardy and is suited to a variety of difficult conditions such as harsh cold as well as extremely windy locations, it even thrives in areas with poor soil.
